Around the Bend
My friend Jill Crawley, who is an artist, recently surprised me with a wonderful gift. It is a painting based on a photo of Joe that I took in 2009 in west Ireland. The photo is black and white, but Jill added a golden light spilling out from around the bend as Joe walks into heaven. The painting is called “Around the Bend” and it is priceless to me.
